The story behind the scent...

The birthplace of Shropshire Sweet Peas, Wem still celebrates the fragrant flowers with an annual festival to this day, but it was Victorian horticulturist Henry Eckford who put sweet peas on the map when he developed new varieties in 1879. Henry's sweet peas grew with multiple flower heads, longer stalks, a heady fragrance, and a range of colours, and were able to flower for seven months of the year. Celebrate Henry Eckford's work by bringing this sweet pea reed diffuser into your home.

FAQs

What wax do you use in your candles?

All of our candles are made using biodegradable, vegan friendly soy wax, manufactured in the UK from pure soybean oil. Unlike with paraffin wax candles, soy wax candles burn cleanly with no sooting, so our candles won't mark your walls or ceilings.

Learn all about the difference between soy wax and paraffin wax here.

Why do you use wooden wicks?

We use wooden wicks in our candles because they are more sustainable than traditional cotton wicks, and burn with a delightful, subtle crackling sound.

Read more about why we use wooden wicks here.

How do I look after my wooden wick candle?

All of our candles come with candle care information in the box, it's super simple:

1) Light your candle from the base of the wick, closest to the wax

2) Trim your wick to 4mm before each burn (no special tools required, fingertips work perfectly for trimming wooden wicks)

It really is that simple, but if you'd like to read more about how to look after your wooden wick candle you can do so here.

How long will my product last?

Our Single Wick Candle (220g/7.4oz) burn time is 45 hours

Our 3 Wick Candle (400g/14oz) burn time is 75 hours

Our 100ml Reed Diffusers and Reed Diffuser Refills last for 3-6 months once opened
