A charming Christmas House matchbox containing 75 long matchsticks
Bring a whimsical dose of Christmas nostalgia into your home with the Christmas House Matches. The matchbox takes the form of a charming little red-brick home, festooned with festive decorations. Inside the house-shaped box you’ll find 75 natural-wood matches (each approximately 100 mm long, with red and green tipped heads).
Key Details:
75 matches, natural wood sticks, red and green tipped heads.
Dimensions: 115 x 70 x 100 mm - slender and tall, echoing a little house shape.
Printed on FSC-certified board.
Designed to be both decorative and practical: perfect perched on a kitchen shelf, bathroom ledge or beside your favourite candle.
Usage Note: These are made from natural materials and may contain small inherent variations. While Archivist takes care to test them, individual matches cannot be guaranteed absolutely flawless - so please strike gently (easy does it!) and always do so away from yourself over a non-combustible surface.
This festive match-box is more than just a utility: it’s a small decorative object that nods to Christmas warmth, design attention and thoughtful gifting.

FAQs
What wax do you use in your candles?
All of our candles are made using biodegradable, vegan friendly soy wax, manufactured in the UK from pure soybean oil. Unlike with paraffin wax candles, soy wax candles burn cleanly with no sooting, so our candles won't mark your walls or ceilings.
Learn all about the difference between soy wax and paraffin wax here.
Why do you use wooden wicks?
We use wooden wicks in our candles because they are more sustainable than traditional cotton wicks, and burn with a delightful, subtle crackling sound.
