After our Christmas candle making workshops went viral and completely sold out by September last year, they're back for Christmas 2026 – this time in the beautiful setting of Burford High Street and Huffkins Bakery, with festive mince pies and a glass of bubbly to enjoy while you pour.
Whether you're planning a festive get-together with friends, looking for a special Christmas activity with loved ones, or simply fancy some creative time out, our workshops are the perfect way to slow down, soak up the atmosphere of Christmas in the Cotswolds and create your very own festive candle.

No previous candle-making experience is needed. We'll guide you through the process from fragrance selection to pouring your candle, sharing a few of our candle-making secrets along the way.
Set on Burford's beautiful High Street, Huffkins provides the perfect setting for a cosy festive morning or afternoon. Make a day of it with a wander around one of the Cotswolds' prettiest towns, before joining us for mince pies, bubbles and candle making.
You'll leave with your own hand-poured candle, a new skill and, we hope, a lovely festive memory too.

What wax do you use in your candles?
All of our candles are made using biodegradable, vegan friendly soy wax, manufactured in the UK from pure soybean oil. Unlike with paraffin wax candles, soy wax candles burn cleanly with no sooting, so our candles won't mark your walls or ceilings.

Why do you use wooden wicks?
We use wooden wicks in our candles because they are more sustainable than traditional cotton wicks, and burn with a delightful, subtle crackling sound.
