THE STORY BEHIND THE SCENT
First designed on the site of an old bowling green, Windsor Castle's East Terrace Garden was designed for King George IV. During the Second World War, Queen II and Princess Margaret were each assigned a small plot in which to grow vegetables. After the War, the planting scheme was simplified and in 1971 The Duke of Edinburgh redesigned the flowerbeds into the pattern of formal rose beds seen today, which are brought to life in this soft rose scented candle.
