With Spring well under way, and the beautiful blossom trees finally in full bloom we thought it was about time we turned the spotlight onto the gorgeous ‘Garden of England’, Kent…
our 3 favourite things to do in kent:
1. Garden inspo - Unsurprisingly, knowing the scent we chose for our Kent products, our favourite thing to do there is explore the stunning gardens, of which there are plenty. Top of our list is always the jaw-dropping Hever Castle & Gardens (Oli doesn’t mind that there also happens to be an amazing golf course there too!). If you’re up for exploring the ‘Garden of England’ for yourself you absolutely have to check out the Hanami Picnics at Brogdale Collections in Faversham. Running from 7th - 27th April, and with over 4,000 fruit tree varieties to take in, the picnics are a beautiful celebration of the traditional Japanese festival of the cherry blossom. Visit Kent have called the picnics ‘a perfect way to celebrate the tradition of Hanami and the cherry blossom.’
2. Beach days - with over 350 miles of charming coastline, and not to mention the world famous White Cliffs of Dover , you really are spoilt for choice when looking for beautiful beaches in Kent. Our favourite is Margate (I remember family holidays here when I was little) but next on our list to explore is Whistable - the pubs there look incredible!
3. Cultural city breaks - closer to home than we first thought, Canterbury is the most beautiful city - steeped in history, and home to the stunning Canterbury Cathedral , with some brilliant food and drink spots - definitely worth a visit!

Our Kent products are beautifully scented with Cherry Blossom, inspired by colourful cherry blossom festivals in the ‘Garden of England’.
As a child I was obsessed with anything and everything pink, so I used to absolutely love it when the blossom trees would come to life every Spring, and I still do.
We knew that the Kent scent would need to be floral but we wanted it to be pretty and delicate rather than heady, and I think we managed that perfectly with the sweet scent of Cherry Blossom.
fun fact According to Kent Life , Kent is the proud supplier of Wimbledon’s famed strawberries. Each juicy red berry must be between 25mm-45mm in diameter, fully red all over and without even the hint of a defect.
